Helpdesk Specialist

As a Helpdesk Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring adherence to company service level agreements.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues at first- and second-level support.
  • Reviewing current systems to identify areas for improvement and collaborating with the Service Delivery Manager to design and implement suitable solutions.
  • Providing assistance, advice, problem-solving, and technical information to teams within the organization.

For success in this position, you should possess strong communication skills, enabling you to build relationships across the business at all levels. You should also have a career focus, drive to take on further opportunities and challenges as they arise.

You will require:

  • A certificate, diploma, degree, or equivalent experience in helpdesk operations.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Attention to detail, ability to adapt, and a faultless work ethic.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while building positive internal and external relationships.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Sharepoint Administration.
  • Basic networking systems (TCP, DNS, WAN, VLAN, VPN, basic switching technologies).
