About the Role

TasNetworks seeks a highly motivated and experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to oversee our large and complex capital Transmission Connections Portfolio.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing high-profile projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and revenue generation.

You will be an industry specialist leading technical responses, high voltage transmission system developments for TasNetworks and third-party customers.

This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as collaborative behaviors with industry stakeholders to find solutions to emerging challenges.

The ideal candidate will be adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment, with an ability to be flexible and take on and resolve challenges.

You will be passionate and driven, with extensive experience in your field helping you build credibility quickly with your customers and stakeholders.

This role is based at our Lenah Valley office and will require some intrastate travel.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a demonstrated commitment to safety and possess negotiation and conflict management skills.

Prior experience in project management and the administration of robust agreements is preferred.

As a proficient collaborator, you will coordinate stakeholders to provide holistic customer solutions.

You will have strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to analyze and interpret data for decision-making.

A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, along with professional competence and experience, is preferred.

Typically, you would have a practical understanding of the National Electricity Rules, the large-scale renewable energy market, and the associated commercial risks.
