Job Description:

We are seeking a technical professional to support our Large Format Printing business. As a specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and solutions to clients across various industries.

Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with the sales team and service team to understand client requirements and develop tailored print solutions. You will also provide technical pre-sales support, including product demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and customer events.

Key aspects of your role will involve leading technical presentations, training, and workshops to demonstrate the value of integrated print solutions to clients. You will design and implement integrated print environments, incorporating third-party software solutions and RIPS, for enhanced print management and workflow automation.

Additionally, you will configure, test, and troubleshoot print solutions in diverse IT environments. This may involve assisting with installations either remotely or on-site at customer locations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Print Expertise:
    • A strong background with Large Format printers (in Photo, proofing, signage, or textile) and/or A3 Multifunction Devices is essential.
  • Technical Pre-Sales & Solution Design:
    • The ability to translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions, product configurations, and service offerings is crucial.
    • Experience in presenting complex print solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences is necessary.
  • Workflow and Imaging:
    • An understanding of digital printing processes, colour management, and diverse print materials is required.
    • Knowledge of third-party RIPS, Illustrator/Photoshop, and profile creation is highly desirable.
  • Managed Print Software:
    • Experience with third-party print management software such as PaperCut and Printix is beneficial.
  • IT Network Integration:
    • Extensive knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure is necessary.
    • The ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to print network configuration is crucial.
  • Project Management and Collaboration:
    • Exceptional communication skills, and the ability to deliver effective training are essential.
    • Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors are necessary.
    • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction is crucial.
