Senior Ground Flight Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ground Flight Instructor to join our team at Lockheed Martin Australia. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ground school training to our military pilot workforce.
Your primary focus will be on providing subject matter expertise and advice on ground school training activities, including the design of new programs and the development of training materials. You will also be responsible for administering and scoring tests, maintaining class records, and determining and reporting on student proficiency.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as a member of a team and independently. You will also need to be able to adapt to changing needs and priorities, and to maintain a flexible approach to problem-solving.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in aviation and/or equivalent relevant experience. You will also need to hold a minimum Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment, and have substantial experience in a training environment and in face-to-face facilitated learning techniques.
You will need to be able to understand and articulate a Training Plan, and to recommend adjustments to the training system as required. You will also need to possess excellent technical writing and editing skills, and a high level of expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
