Job Description:As a Supply Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons.
- Manage trades performance against submitted forecasts to ensure DFA achievement.
- Manage third-party DFA.
- Review historical sales trends and reconcile significant variances to advise Sales on their forecast inputs.
- Interact with Sales, Network to understand demand forecast drivers and better predict forward views.
- Provide inputs to the Supply planning team in developing required replenishment plans.
- Facilitate and run demand management meetings for Puma and third-party supply.
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand performance.
- Focus on continuous improvement of demand performance in conjunction with different stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Establish cost structures with cost build-up approaches and share best practices.
- Guarantee correct upload processes into systems and reports.
- Identify cost savings by leading initiatives with Trading, Operations, and Taxation teams.
- Analyze historical cost data to provide accurate cost estimates.
- Purchase products at the lowest possible cost, interacting with Deals Desk and optimizing the supply chain.
- Lead supply flow of data between marketers and Supply.
- Accountable for consolidating demand and stock progression forecasts, weekly reporting for the country to ensure consolidated communication to central Market Supply teams.
- Incorporate all in-country Other Oil Companies primary supply requirements.
- Coordinate Product Scheduling: Ensure proper coordination with fuel suppliers to deliver quality products timely, managing the interface with the Trader.
- Ensure efficient road/rail transport plans to ensure supply reliability at existing supply points.
- Supervise Supply activities, ensuring processes are executed following appropriate control standards and complying with all company policies.
- Create a positive environment that promotes individual and team efforts, developing necessary skills and capabilities within the team.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Exposure to commodities, oil, and gas industries.
- A technical degree in Economics.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Effective negotiation and networking skills.
- A strong understanding of trading platforms.
