The role of Strategic Investment Specialist is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our high-performing team and contribute to the development of tailored investment solutions for our clients.

The Role

  • As a Strategic Investment Specialist, you will work closely with experienced client-facing consultants and analysts to provide high-quality investment advice and implementation to institutional clients, including superannuation funds, redundancy and long service leave schemes, insurance companies, private wealth, endowments, and foundations.
  • You will develop technical knowledge of investments across asset classes, WTW's investment processes, other house views, and best practices through on-the-job learning, internal and external training, and access to further study and mentoring.
  • Engaging and establishing professional relationships with various industry participants, including Boards, Investment Committees, fund executives, and investment managers, is a key aspect of this role.
  • You will build strong relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
  • Supporting other team members in carrying out quantitative analysis, assisting in the construction and delivery of client reports across a range of different investment topics and asset classes, and contributing to a collaborative and inclusive team culture are essential responsibilities.
  • In addition to working directly with clients on their investment portfolios, there is scope to work with our investment strategy, portfolio management, sustainability, and investment governance functions.

About You

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Investment Specialist to join our team.
  • A strong understanding of investments and asset classes, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are essential for this role.
  • Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
