Glazing Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in glass cutting and installation to join our team. As a key member of our glazing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products meets the highest standards.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on various projects, from residential to commercial buildings, in Melbourne, Australia. You will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in the industry while working collaboratively with our experienced team members.

  • Conduct rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure all glass deliveries meet the AS1288 standards.
  • Analyze blueprints and specifications to identify necessary work details, including color, shape, size, type, and thickness of glass to be installed.
  • Participate in field activities when required, contributing to the successful completion of projects.
  • Process and dispatch orders efficiently, adhering to set deadlines.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of AS1288 Glass in buildings and glazing techniques.
  • Experience cutting glass with attention to detail.
  • Ability to use a computer and manage paperwork effectively.
  • Qualification in Glazing is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A proven track record of safety practices and compliance.
