Job Title: Library Services Officer

This role contributes to a positive client experience by providing essential library services and support.

About This Opportunity

The successful candidate will be part of the Library Student Experience team, responsible for delivering outstanding front-line support to UQ students and academics.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Provide information and advice on library resources, assessing client needs and offering solutions or specialist referrals.
  2. Create, edit, maintain, and delete library records, assisting with developing documentation and statistical reports.
  3. Support and supervise colleagues, training and coordinating workflows, and ensuring quality assurance. Resolve routine and non-routine issues, escalating as necessary.
  4. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, implementing change and demonstrating flexibility to assist with operational activities.
About You

The ideal candidate should have a degree/qualifications with demonstrated competence in service delivery and improvement, including technology use and adherence to policies.
