Support Professional Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to provide assistance with challenging behaviors and help individuals with disability become more independent in their own homes and the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Active support: assist individuals in developing personal interests, providing personal care, transportation, and coaching independent living skills
  • Health support: administer medication and document health support plans as required
  • Positive behaviour support: manage behaviour triggers and escalation effectively
  • Safeguarding: ensure the safety of all parties involved, documenting incidents and reports as necessary
About You:
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with people with disability
  • Experience working as a support professional in a challenging environment is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of behaviour support plans is essential
  • Able to manage and escalate challenging behaviours professionally
  • Flexible with sleepover shifts as required
Requirements:
  • Certification in Disability, Individual Support or equivalent is preferred
  • Available to work a rotating roster including weekends and overnights
  • NDIS Worker Check and National Police Check required
  • Full Unrestricted NT Driver's license is mandatory
  • First aid and CPR certification is essential
