About the Role

UGL Pty Limited is seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Contracts Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will be responsible for providing commercial, financial, and contractual support to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement and Contract Management
    • Procure subcontracts and suppliers, including preparing request for quotation (RFQ) packages and conducting weekly procurement meetings to track progress.
    • Prepare and submit commercial notices and claims in a timely manner, including performing technical analysis and evidence documentation.
  • Contract Administration
    • Manage downstream contracts, including responding to variations, payment schedules, and supplier invoices.
    • Coordinate with the project team and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Claims and Variations
    • Prepare payment claims with compiled documents, with the support of the Contracts Manager.
    • Integrate technical issues into contractual notices.
  • Requirements and Qualifications
    • 3-5 years of experience as a Contracts Administrator.
    • Experience in all stages of head contract and subcontract management, including preparing claims, procurement, scope preparation, cost forecasting, variations/claims management, completion, and closeouts.
    • Experience in SAP and working on rail/technology projects is preferable.
    • Site-based engineering or construction experience.
    • Ability to read and understand P6 program, good letter writing skills, and analyze delay and disruption and Extension of Time claim.
