The OpportunityYou'll be a key member of our Water team, working on major pipelines, large pumping stations, advanced water, wastewater, and recycling treatment projects. We're addressing critical water cycle challenges through flexible program delivery models and ongoing asset management programs, partnering with key water utilities like Melbourne Water, Southeast Water, Sydney Water, Water NSW, SA Water, and Urban Utilities.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a vital role in planning, scheduling, and conducting work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. You'll possess a pragmatic approach to developing constructable design solutions and have proven commercial acumen in delivering water infrastructure.
Who are you?You are a design-focused Senior Mechanical Engineer motivated by achievement and outcome-focused. Your experience with design practices for water & wastewater across major water utility assets will be highly valued. You'll be responsible for performing work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
