Academic Coordinator

The Academic Coordinator oversees subject delivery, maintains quality teaching resources, and supports academic staff performance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Academic Delivery & Quality:
      • Oversight of subject delivery and consistency of learning materials.
      • Maintenance of quality teaching resources via the Learning Management System.
      • Support of academic staff performance and coordination of teaching quality.
    • Academic Oversight & Compliance:
      • Management of academic integrity, moderation, and professional development processes.
      • Ensure compliance with academic policies and regulatory standards.
    • Course Development & Accreditation:
      • Oversee resource development and ensure alignment with course requirements.
      • Maintenance of currency and relevance of course content for all delivery modes.
    • Leadership & Team Development:
      • Lead and support academic staff onboarding, training, and performance.
      • Foster a positive, high-performing team culture aligned with organizational values.
    Qualifications and Experience
    • A minimum AQF Level 9 (Level 10 preferred) qualification in Early Childhood Education is required.
    • Professional experience in course coordination, academic management, and teaching and learning development is essential.
    • Demonstrated experience managing a team, including driving people and culture processes.
    • Skills in contemporary teaching, learning, and assessment principles specific to the discipline or field are necessary.
