A dynamic and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Conflict Resolution Specialist to join our client, a well-respected not-for-profit organisation based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to fill this key position, which will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management and resolution of conflicts within our volunteer-based organisation.

This is a unique chance for a passionate animal welfare advocate to combine their expertise in human resources with their passion for volunteering and make a real difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and manage formal complaints made by volunteers or staff in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interpret legislation, regulations, and awards to resolve concerns and encourage positive resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including volunteers, Branch Grievance Officers, and senior management.
  • Liaise with Volunteer Branch Grievance Officers to provide advice, assistance, and support as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Dispute Resolution, Law, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • At least 4-5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a volunteer-based NFP.
  • A strong background in conflict management and resolution delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This role offers a competitive salary package, including a generous remuneration of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
