Cyber Security Architect Role

As a Cyber Security Architect, you will play a crucial role in providing thought leadership and strategic advice to our customers on cyber security matters. You will be responsible for designing solutions across a broad range of cyber security topics to support our customers' business strategies.

About the Role
  • You will work alongside the Head of Security to review and enhance existing capabilities and help develop new services.
  • The preferred location for the role is Sydney, but it can also be based in Brisbane for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Consult and design solutions involving the latest trend & products related to Workplace, Edge, and Public Cloud (AWS & Azure).
  2. Drive the technical qualification, scoping, estimation, assessment, and design of new / existing opportunities.
  3. Create technical documentation relevant to sales (tender/RFX responses, technical design).
  4. Become a 'trusted advisor' within key customer accounts.
  5. Development of standardised offerings and support sales enablement collateral.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience across a broad range of technology streams, including Systems, Infrastructure, SaaS, Private, and Public Cloud.
  • Experience with cyber security standards, regulations, policies, and processes.
  • Proven ability to create and present complex business and technical solutions.
  • Proven ability to innovate, adapt, and work under pressure in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and firm deadlines.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP/CISM/CRISC are highly regarded.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert in Cyber Security, covering some of the following specialties:
    • EDR and Anti-Malware.
    • Digital Forensics and Incident Response.
    • Security Awareness.
    • Email, Web Gateways, CASB.
    • Next Generation Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls.
    • Patch and Vulnerability Management.
    • SIEM and Log Collection/Correlation.
    • ASD Essential 8.
    • Compliance programs (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, ISM etc).
