Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Equipment Specialist to work in our Brisbane, QLD location. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment within our facility.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on industrial equipment
  • React quickly to breakdowns and communicate effectively with affected teams
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing solutions to improve equipment availability
  • Work collaboratively with senior colleagues to maintain and troubleshoot equipment

Requirements

  • Formal trade qualifications: Certificate III in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license or Certificate III in Engineering/Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner)
  • Experience in planned preventative maintenance systems
  • Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings
  • Experience working to appropriate health and safety standards and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in computer maintenance systems (CMMS)
  • Experience in sortation machines
  • Experience in an industrial environment

About the Role

This is a full-time position that includes working one day during weekends. Day and night shifts are available.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is around $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
