Lead Drainage Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Drainage Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and leading stormwater drainage projects, working on exciting projects in energy, resources, civic, water, and transport markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and lead hydrologic and hydraulic analysis with 12D, DRAINS, and other relevant tools.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to the drainage team.
  • Engage in designing and leading stormwater drainage, services coordination, and interdisciplinary coordination across various market sectors.
  • Work on projects spanning energy, resources, civic, water, and transport markets.
  • Lead design activities and packages independently, while also overseeing and coordinating the work of others.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of experience as a civil/drainage engineer, preferably with multidisciplinary work.
  • Experience with design and construction projects in Victoria is preferred, as well as experience with MRPV projects and Melbourne Water approvals.
  • Energetic, flexible, and positive attitude.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment with a 'can-do' attitude and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience in drainage design across transport, energy, resources, or similar market areas, and general civil design work.
  • Experience with a range of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis tools.
