Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Role in Regional Hospital

This is a unique opportunity to join a regional hospital as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, where you will be able to deliver high-quality care and make a real impact in the community.


The successful candidate will have expertise in both general obstetrics and gynaecological surgery, with a strong commitment to clinical teaching, quality, and safety. They will also be skilled at participating in clinical governance, CPD, and quality improvement, and will have a proven ability to supervise and mentor junior doctors and students.


  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team.
  • You will be responsible for delivering safe and high-quality care across obstetrics and gynaecology, and will participate in clinical governance, CPD, and quality improvement.
  • You will also supervise and mentor junior doctors and students, and engage in education, audit, and research activities.


About You

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Fellowship of RANZCOG;
  • Specialist Registration with AHPRA;
  • Expertise in both general obstetrics and gynaecological surgery;
  • A demonstrated commitment to clinical teaching, quality, and safety;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
