Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our Children in Care team. The successful candidate will work closely with children, families, and colleagues to provide high-quality care and support.

About the Role:

As a Care and Support Professional, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children, developing personalized plans, and delivering effective interventions to promote their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To conduct comprehensive assessments of children's needs, identifying areas of risk and requirement for intervention.
  • To develop and implement individualized care plans, working collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals.
  • To deliver high-quality support and interventions that meet the unique needs of each child, ensuring their safety, well-being, and empowerment.
  • To maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and outcomes, utilizing this data to inform future decisions and optimize service delivery.
  • To contribute to a culture of excellence within the team, engaging in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree-level qualification in Social Work or a related field.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Post-qualified experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
