**About the Role**

A unique opportunity exists for a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team in a state-of-the-art facility located in a stunningly beautiful region. As part of a multidisciplinary group of FACEMs, you will have the chance to work on a wide range of interests including toxicology, ultrasound, simulation, advanced airway management and education.

Work Location: The second largest town in South Australia after Adelaide, boasting breathtaking geological formations, native forests, vineyards, and sweeping ocean vistas. Only 4 hours drive from Adelaide, it offers a thriving progressive community with a local population of over 35,000 people enjoying its temperate Mediterranean climate.

About the Facility: Delivering services to over 94,000 people and a further 175,000 people annually at country emergency departments, making it the largest hospital in rural South Australia. Identified in the Government's 'Plan for Country Health' as one of the four general hospitals providing treatment for country people closer to home.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Current AHPRA Registration or eligible for Registration with AHPRA or comparable country (UK, Ireland, USA, Canada) assessment by ACEM
  • IMG with ACEM interview date or outcome
  • IMG with 10+ years experience via STTP
