We are seeking a skilled Practice Nurse to join our team at ForHealth Medical Centres. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to our patients and work collaboratively with our experienced team of nurses and general practitioners.
About the Role
This is a casual position that requires a flexible and adaptable individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough health assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
- Administering vaccines and providing post-vaccination care and monitoring
- Triage and prioritization of patient emergencies and providing timely interventions
- Assisting general practitioners with minor procedures and providing support with patient care
- Managing patient clinical data and maintaining accurate records
- Providing wound care and removal of sutures as needed
- Delivering health education and coaching to support patients in achieving their health goals
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- AHPRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse
- Proven experience in general practice or an acute setting
- Knowledge of health assessment principles and practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A passion for delivering high-quality patient care
