Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing street and park bins, commercial waste bins, and collecting illegally dumped rubbish
  • Operating waste service plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Assisting the Supervisor City Waste to deliver the requirements of our Community, Delivery and Operations Plans
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our residents

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current class HR drivers licence
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of waste service operations
  • Ability to work as a team, follow direction, and work with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Have and maintain a level of physical fitness sufficient to undertake all activities related to waste collection within the City
