Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and implement comprehensive engagement strategies tailored to diverse audiences, emphasizing trust-building and collaborative relationships.
  • Communication Development: Create high-quality communication materials that resonate with various stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent, and goal-aligned messaging.
  • Issue Management: Employ advanced stakeholder management skills to navigate complex issues, develop risk mitigation strategies, and provide strategic communications advice to address potential concerns.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Oversee the preparation of regulatory reports, ensure compliance with public communications policies, and monitor stakeholder engagement activities to guarantee regulatory requirements are met.
  • Mentorship: Foster a collaborative environment by actively mentoring and guiding team members, encouraging innovation and creativity.

About You

We seek a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in stakeholder relations or communications. Key qualifications include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, public policy, social sciences, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in stakeholder relations or communications, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and strategic planning skills to inform decision-making and communication strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and a compliance-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to represent the organization at external events, functions, and meetings, showcasing diplomacy and effective dispute resolution skills.
