Social Media Content Creator and Manager Position

We are seeking a talented Social Media Content Creator to join our team on a casual basis.

About the Role

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a knack for creating eye-catching content, and genuinely enjoys interacting with customers online.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy across key platforms.
  • Create engaging, original, high-quality content daily, with a strong focus on short-form video (ideation, filming, editing for Reels, TikToks, Shorts).
  • Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and staying active in relevant conversations.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer service inquiries, comments, and messages.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer interactions, resolving issues and fostering a positive community environment.
  • Analyze social media performance using analytics tools and report on key metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform features, and best practices, particularly in video content.
About You
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or business.
  • Demonstrable experience creating engaging content, especially short-form video.
  • Excellent video shooting and editing skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience providing customer service, ideally via social media.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting.
