We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on the Acute Geriatric Inpatient Unit at Wyong Hospital. This permanent full-time and part-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older patients while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Acute Geriatric Inpatient Unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to support patients in achieving their health and wellbeing goals.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and provide excellent customer service.
- Use information technology to manage patient care.
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Recent clinical experience in acute geriatric care or a related specialty with a commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, along with information technology skills.
- Work for the largest employer on the Central Coast.
