Effective Ship Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of a vessel. This position involves working closely with the Vessel Master and Engineer to oversee daily vessel operations, providing guidance and direction to the Deck Crew. The goal is to deliver exceptional crew performance and provide unforgettable experiences to guests.

About the Role

This role requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can assist the Vessel Master with administration and safety duties. The successful candidate will ensure guest safety, satisfaction, and optimal vessel and engine performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Vessel Master with administration and safety tasks
  • Ensuring guest safety, satisfaction, and optimal vessel and engine performance
  • Supporting watch-keeping, vessel handling, and navigation
  • Conducting regular onboard safety drills and crew training
  • Managing Deck Crew performance and training compliance
  • Promoting high team performance and professional presentation

The ideal candidate will be a professional role model, demonstrating efficiency, consistency, and strong leadership. They will have excellent people management skills, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback while fostering team morale.
