About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Director to join our team at McNab, one of Australia's leading Construction, Development and Property groups.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining proactive and positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers. Key responsibilities include preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules, as well as planning actions and completing all documentation in alignment with the Head Contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control systems to meet project financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Managers to determine and communicate an effective Request for Information (RFI) management process with subcontractors.
  • Ensure project document control meets all contract requirements, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Manage and maintain cost control software, including budget entry, commitments, forecasting, variations, payments, and coding of invoices.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in commercial construction, particularly in roles such as Quantity Surveying or related fields. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
