Remote Health Service Occupational Therapist Position

This exciting opportunity is now available for a Locum Hospital Occupational Therapist to join a small allied health team in South West Queensland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, providing responsive Occupational Therapy services across 26 healthcare facilities and servicing over 310,000 square kilometers.
Key Responsibilities:- Rural generalist work within a multidisciplinary team to manage, coordinate and provide Occupational Therapy services in acute, community and outreach settings.
- Providing services across 26 healthcare facilities including hospitals, community clinics, aged care facilities and general practices.
- Managing a caseload that includes equipment prescription, home modifications, hand therapy, inpatient and RACF.
- Handling complex cases such as hand therapy and home modifications.
- Locum rates up to $75/hour + super
- Accommodation provided
- $200 travel allowance each way
- Positive feedback from current locums
