Dedicated Mental Health Care Professional Wanted

Contribute to the well-being of Defence Force staff by working as a Mental Health Nurse in our Health Centres. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical and allied health professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
- Perform intake assessments and risk evaluations to ensure effective patient care planning.
- Provide crisis intervention and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, comprising medical and allied health professionals, to deliver high-quality patient care. Your duties will include:
- Conducting group psycho-education sessions to promote patient understanding and empowerment.
- Assisting with medication management to optimize patient outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia.
- Credentialing with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN).
- Minimum of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) Post Registered Nurse general registration experience within the previous 5 years in mental health in a primary health setting or specialist mental health setting.
