Job Description

We are seeking a talented professional to fill the role of Healthcare Professional. As a key member of our team, you will have opportunities to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact on the lives of Canadians.

This position involves preparing and dispensing medications accurately and timely, ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patients' needs, and counseling patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and proactive manner.

You will also be responsible for creating awareness and educating customers through public relations initiatives, providing timely resolutions to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues, reviewing and controlling costs within the pharmacy, and delivering ongoing training to colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree and Class A Pharmacist license
  • Superior customer relations skills and strong professionalism
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills
  • Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Personal computing skills and knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy Computer system (asset)
