About the Role

Reporting to the Group Human Resources Manager, you will work closely with our HR team to provide expert advice on HR matters, including policy interpretation, employment legislation, and Enterprise Agreements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing professional guidance on all HR-related issues, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Conducting workplace investigations and complex case management, providing recommendations to mitigate risk.
  • Contributing to business strategy by identifying, prioritizing, and building organisational capability.
  • Managing change processes, analyzing risks, and challenging decisions that may not be in the best interest of the organisation.
  • Partnering with managers to support their strategic and business goals, contributing to the People Plan.
  • Supporting cultural change and engagement activities, driving initiatives that promote a positive work environment.
Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong foundation in human resources management, industrial relations, and negotiation skills. You will have:

  • A degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Significant experience as a Human Resources generalist and/or business partnering experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial and employee relations theory, principles, policies, and practice.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and persuasion skills.
  • The ability to recognize trends and develop recommendations, strategies, plans, policies, and solutions that meet individual and organisational needs.
  • Clear, concise, and influential verbal and written communication skills.
