About the Position

We are seeking a Provisional Psychologist to join our team. As a Provisional Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with consumers to identify their support needs, goals and develop collaborative care plans.

You will provide high quality biopsychosocial assessment, care coordination and evidence-based, focused psychological interventions to young people aged 12 to 25 referred to our service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Provisional Psychologist to gain experience and develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with consumers to identify their support needs and goals
  • Develop collaborative care plans
  • Provide high quality biopsychosocial assessment, care coordination and evidence-based, focused psychological interventions

Requirements

  • Current Provisional Psychologist registration with AHPRA (or eligible for immediate registration)
  • Completion of 5th year tertiary qualification in psychology
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with young people and their families, friends or carers to undertake assessment and screening to determine care needs
  • Experience in the provision of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and other evidence-based focused psychological strategies
