Located in Toowoomba, you will work within the Purpose and Values of Aruma. As a Youth Care Specialist, you will be part of a high-performing Support Team working towards delivering a positive customer experience to those in our care.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environment and promoting positive family relationships.
• You will have resilience to work within a trauma-informed framework that makes a real difference with young people who have complex needs and challenging behaviors.

Requirements

• Hold (or are willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR qualifications.

Skills and Experience

• Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepovers.
• You are passionate about supporting young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability.
