Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading major aviation projects from initiation through deployment and handover into operations.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, monitor, and document tasks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective and efficient delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in a Project Management role, with a strong understanding of engineering and design principles, as well as safety practices in project delivery.

You will also possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead capital projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Employ proven project management skills to plan, monitor, and document tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Take responsibility for key functional aspects within the project, including scope, risk, cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Ensure safety is at the heart of project delivery, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Day-to-day management of projects, including implementing and deploying solutions, and handing over into operations.
  • Work within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver targeted project outcomes, fostering a collaborative and communicative project culture.
  • Manage different forms of contract, ensuring compliance with contract terms, processing of payments, and managing change.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in a Project Management role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Recognised Project Management Qualification is essential (e.g. AAPM, APM, PMI, PRINCE2, MSP) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in the infrastructure and/or construction sector.
  • Experience in Aviation is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in on-site contractor management.
  • Experience operating at various stages in the project lifecycle.
  • Solid understanding of engineering and design principles, as well as safety practices in project delivery.
  • Contract administration and management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
What We Offer

Turner & Townsend offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, including professional development opportunities and a flexible working environment.
