Key Role Summary

A skilled Medical Science Liaison is sought to spearhead the Cardiometabolic initiative. This position, based in Victoria, offers a unique opportunity to bridge science, healthcare, and innovation.

About the Position
  • Establish and maintain productive partnerships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and other external stakeholders across Victoria.
  • Act as a credible scientific resource to the medical community, providing up-to-date information on relevant therapies and research.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Support education initiatives, including training programs and content creation, ensuring high scientific standards are met.
  • Gather and share insights on medical trends, competitive intelligence, and unmet needs in the therapeutic area.
  • Support investigator-initiated trials, research projects, and collaborations to advance scientific knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and shared goals.
Essential Qualifications
  • A strong foundation in science with tertiary qualifications in Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, or related fields.
  • Advanced degrees (PhD, PharmD, MD) are highly regarded.
  • Previous experience as an MSL or in a similar external-facing role is preferred.
  • Expertise in Cardiometabolic diseases or related areas is desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
  • Understanding of clinical data, research methodologies, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated with organizational skills to manage responsibilities within Victoria.
