Job Description

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in Beenleigh, Hillcrest, and surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be an integral part of our community, providing support on matters of personal care, administering medications, transferring individuals using hoists and slide sheets, and assisting with domestic duties and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support on matters of personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing, and more.
  • Administer medications as required.
  • Transfer individuals using hoists and slide sheets, and assist with mobility.
  • Assist with domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, or meal preparation.
  • Engage in community activities, such as attending doctors' appointments, grocery shopping, or other social or recreational activities.

  • A calm and confident demeanor in all environments.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously, as well as under direction and within a team environment.
  • A commitment to professional boundaries.
  • The capacity to provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity.
