Strategic Security Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Security Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security and facilities management, with the ability to provide strategic advice and technical input on security systems.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Legal Aid NSW's security services across all sites, ensuring alignment with agency-wide safety and security recommendations. They will also contribute to broader facilities management functions to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant workplaces.
About the Role- Provide expert advice on security strategy, operational and project work.
- Contribute to broader facilities management functions to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant workplaces.
- Tertiary qualification or demonstrated experience in security and facilities operations within a complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of electronic security systems implementation and contract management.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply safety and security recommendations strategically and operationally.
- Willingness to participate in emergency response and travel across NSW as required.
- Be willing to do a Criminal Record Check.
- Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency(for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies).
- Hold a valid Class C Driver Licence.
