Trade Waiter

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting and arranging tables to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Taking reservations and greeting customers with a warm smile
  • Presenting menus and beverage lists to enhance the dining experience
  • Recommending dishes and wines to complement food, showcasing knowledge of fine cuisine
  • Efficiently taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
  • Serving food and beverages with impeccable timing and presentation
  • Opening bottles and pouring beverages with flair
  • Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery with precision
  • Removing empty bottles and used glasses, maintaining a clean and tidy environment
  • Collecting payments and operating point-of-sale machines with accuracy

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years working in hospitality, with a strong track record of success
  • Hold a minimum of two years' experience running a section in a reputable restaurant, demonstrating leadership skills
  • Commitment to a minimum of six months, ensuring stability and consistency
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA), guaranteeing safe and responsible service
