About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to work with our team as a Cultural Support Specialist, where you will be responsible for delivering responsive support services to Aboriginal families.

  • Providing flexible and family-centred support to meet the unique needs of each family.
  • Working closely with healthcare professionals to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal children and families.
  • Supporting families to engage with community resources and connect them with relevant services.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A proven ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal communities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal families with complex issues and a deep understanding of their cultural needs.
  • Knowledge of child development and family dynamics, as well as experience implementing health promotion strategies.
