As a Cloud Security Automation Professional, you will play a key role in enhancing the security posture and defenses of our organization on a large scale. Your primary focus will be on analyzing, designing, and expanding our public cloud automation framework to identify critical risks and effectively communicate their impact to various stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement the Public Cloud Security automation framework in alignment with our defined Public Cloud Security roadmap, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Implement key cybersecurity controls and deploy defences against threats in Public Cloud environments, utilizing best practices for code and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Technology stakeholders to drive security culture development and communicate security controls and objectives to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Implement and socialise key security metrics to assess the maturity of the security posture in Public Cloud environments.
  • Execute security testing, detection, and response processes using appropriate tools and automation strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

You should have solid experience with AWS, strong knowledge of Infrastructure-As-Code tools to automate deployments, and a clear understanding of the security landscape within the public cloud space. Additionally, you should be familiar with:

  • CloudFormation and at least one programming language (Python, Java, Ruby, JavaScript, C#, C++) in a business application development context.
  • Creating CI/CD pipelines in tools such as AWS Code Build, Code Deploy, Code Pipeline.
  • Designing and implementing security controls within pipelines using SAST and DAST tools.
  • Working with WAF and firewalls configurations.
  • Experience with Splunk or similar log analyser.
  • Understanding of the AWS Well Architected Framework.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with an ability to collaborate with a team.
