We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Gosford Donor Centre & Donor Mobile Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our donors through their donation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and interview potential donors to assess their eligibility and suitability for donation
  • Conduct routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests to ensure donor safety
  • Set up and operate equipment, including machines, tubing, and collection bags
  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance to other team members during the blood collection process
  • Manage adverse donor reactions and provide physical assistance as needed
  • Monitor donors post-donation and assist with rebooking for future donations

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster
  • Flexibility to travel to different locations as required
