About the Role

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to fire and other emergency incidents. You will promote community safety and emergency preparedness by contributing to community education activities.

You will develop and maintain competencies by actively participating in regular drills and other relevant training courses provided by us to ensure safety and effectiveness on the fire ground.

Maintenance and upkeep of station facilities is also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will contribute to incident reporting and general station administration as required.

Key Requirements
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Manual C Class driver's licence

The key accountabilities for this role include:

  • Responding to fire and other emergency incidents
  • Promoting community safety and emergency preparedness
  • Developing and maintaining competencies through participation in training courses
  • Maintaining station facilities and contributing to incident reporting and administration
