Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled teacher to join our education team as a full-time Secondary Science Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science lessons to students in Years 7-12.

  • This is a temporary full-time position commencing in January 2025, with the option to extend or convert to a permanent role after 12 months.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A four-year trained teaching qualification and active NESA accreditation.
  • Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number.
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training and CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate a clear understanding of and personal commitment to Catholic Education and actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the school.
  • Skills in utilising assessment and relevant school data to optimise organisational and educational outcomes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and members of the wider community to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.
