Job Description

  • We are seeking a Research Manager to join our team in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage client accounts
  • Run diverse research projects
  • Mentor junior staff through aspects such as questionnaire design, scripting online surveys, data analytics, and report writing

Deliverables

  • Staff Management: coach and mentor junior staff members through key project aspects
  • Project Management: coordinate and manage complex projects independently or within a team
  • Account Management: partner with the Research Director to understand client needs, advocate best practices, and provide relevant insights
  • New Business Development: prepare quotations and proposals for research briefs
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: analyse research results, identify trends, and undertake regression modelling

Requirements

  • A proactive attitude to learning and helping others
  • Self-discipline and motivation
  • Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced analytical and numerical skills
  • Solid understanding of research design, online research methodologies, sampling, questionnaire design, quotas, and weighting
  • Three-five years of experience in market research in an agency
  • Excellence in written, oral, and electronic communication skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Sciences, or Business/Commerce
