About our Maintenance Officer role, you will be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality care and support to our residents and clients.
Job Responsibilities- Maintain facilities to ensure economical and safe use of resources
- Implement maintenance policies and strive to meet outcome standards related to the physical environment
- Maintain confidentiality and respect residents' private property and their right to privacy
- Carry out regular preventative maintenance checks using trade skills, tools or outside providers as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with required competencies and industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements including Injury Risk Management
- Relevant trade qualification in construction and maintenance (desirable)
- Understanding of current OSH and legal requirements
- Suitable experience in building maintenance and related areas
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively without supervision
- Effective time management and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
