Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned mining professional to take on the role of Senior Vice President – Technical & Operational Excellence.

This pivotal position will drive high performance across our operations, ensuring safe, sustainable, and efficient delivery of gold ounces in line with our business strategy.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Set the global technical and operational excellence strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Lead technical functions including mining engineering, geology, metallurgy, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational performance improvement programs, targeting productivity, cost efficiency.
  • Implement technology, data, and automation solutions to transform operations and deliver competitive advantage.
  • Assist with building capability within operational teams, fostering innovation, collaboration, and leadership excellence.
  • Evaluate and enhance governance, risk management, and technical assurance processes across all assets.
  • Model exemplary safety leadership.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in mining engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in senior technical and operational leadership within mining or processing operations, preferably in hard rock environments.
  • Extensive background in technical studies, project management, and operational excellence.
  • Prior experience in M&A technical due diligence and/or integration processes.
  • Expertise in financial forecasting, cost control, and quality assurance.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to engage effectively with the Board, investors, and analysts.
