Personal Care Assistant for Clients with Disabilities

We are seeking an experienced Personal Care Assistant to join our team in providing care and support to a young child with complex needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering individualised support services, including personal care, daily living tasks, and community access.

The role involves assisting the child with their morning and evening routines, including personal care, dressing, and feeding. You will also be responsible for supporting the child's communication needs, including non-verbal methods of expression.

In addition to direct care, you will assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. A flexible approach to work is essential, with shifts ranging from 7am to 9am for morning personal care and school drop off, and 10:30am to 6pm for daily supports and activities.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate III in Individual Support (or higher) and relevant experience working with children and young people. A current Working with Children's Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check are also mandatory requirements.
