Medical Laboratory Researcher

This is a fixed term, part-time role for 12 months from the start date.
The position involves laboratory duties including specimen reception, diagnostic andrology testing, and cryopreservation of clinical semen samples.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing Laboratory Tasks:
- Assist in performing routine diagnostic and clerical duties under senior laboratory staff supervision.
- Media preparation, specimen preparation, and instrument and quality control testing.
- Routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on automated and manual instrumentation and equipment.
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science), Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Laboratory Medicine), or equivalent bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrated knowledge of male reproductive physiology.
- Postgraduate qualification(s) and research experience.
You will contribute to providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients working in a team environment with respect for other members of the team.
The Andrology department provides comprehensive diagnostic andrology and sperm banking services to various hospitals and clinics. This role will be part of a new centre of excellence.
