About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced swimming instructor to join our team at Jack Hort Memorial Pool. As a qualified teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons to a diverse range of ages and abilities.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision, and demonstrate strong time management and organisational skills.

Relevant industry qualifications, such as an AUSTSWIM Certificate, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to students of varying ages and abilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual needs and learning styles
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their swimming skills
  • Work effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
  • Current AUSTSWIM Certificate – or equivalent
