Senior Advisor Environment

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to join our team, supporting environmental performance and compliance in line with sustainability standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic advice and day-to-day environmental support
- Manage approvals and stakeholder consultation under relevant legislation
- Develop, review and implement environmental management processes in consultation with Environmental leadership
- Lead monitoring, inspections, audits, data collection and reporting
- Maintain environmental risk and obligations registers
- Support continuous improvement of the site's ISO14001/ICMI/ICMM Certified Management System
- Coach and mentor upcoming environmental professionals
- Support and lead progressive rehabilitation initiatives as required

About You:

You're a motivated environmental professional who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment and brings strong stakeholder engagement and compliance expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of WA environmental legislation
  • Experience with audits, inspections and approvals processes
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, GIS and environmental databases
  • Leadership experience with the ability to coach and mentor others
  • Proven project management expertise with a strong track record in developing, implementing, and continuously enhancing management programs
  • Experience collaborating with Traditional Owners will be highly regarded
