We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Employment Consultant. This is a rewarding role that will enable you to make a positive impact on people's lives, assisting them to achieve their employment goals.
About the RoleThis full-time position offers a competitive salary starting at $69,000 per annum, plus Not-For-Profit Salary Packaging benefits, superannuation, and more. As an Employment Consultant, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with participants, understanding their needs, interests, skills, and experience, and creating personalized job plans to support their transition into sustainable employment.
- You will assist participants with resume development, job application preparation, and interview coaching, helping them to increase their employability and confidence.
- You will identify and assess barriers to employment, providing solutions to support participants in overcoming these challenges and achieving their employment goals.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A strong sense of empathy and compassion for individuals facing employment barriers;
- An excellent communication skillset, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure;
- A background in customer service, sales, retail, call centers, hospitality, consulting, business development, or administration, with a willingness to receive comprehensive training;
- Full Australian working rights, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check;
- The ability to demonstrate WISE attributes: Customer Centricity, Curiosity, Resilience, Adaptability, Creativity, and Growth Mindset.
